Međugorje

Kravice Waterfall

Baćina lakes

Mogorjelo

This nature park and bird rezerve in neighboring Bosnia-Herzegovina, is located only 5 km from Čapljina. Observe around 300 bird and 600 plant species and take photos of the four types of vegetation: forest, water, meadow and wetland.

Smrden Grad

Located above the Klek, at about 800 m above sea level, or 20-30 minutes of hiking. After adventurous ascension experience a fantastic view of the Pelješac bay, and you can see the fortress and the church from the 17th century.

Antique Narona

Remains of this ancient city are situated on the site of present-day village of Vid, which is only 3 km from Metković. Visit the first “in situ” archeological museum in Croatia. The restored temple statues are the Museums main attraction, and its exhibits include 800 items (statues, pottery, jewellery, glass, coins, etc.) which date from the second century BC to the seventh century AD.

Počitelj

Do not miss to see the Oriental and Mediterranean architecture of this small town (national monument) in Bosnia and Herzegovina which was built in the 16th century.

Ornithological collection

The second largest collection of birds in Europe. Do not miss to learn about more than 340 bird species that are important for the Neretva region (and beyond) and see some of their natural habitat.

Marathon Ladja

An amateur, sporting competition which involves the racing of ladje (vessels native to the Lower Neretva River which flows through the Republic of Croatia). This popular Croatian competition will delight you. It is held annually on the second Saturday in August, on a course 22.5 km long, under the direct patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia.
